Support for Adults, Parents, and Families
Anxiety Therapy in Ontario
Life’s complexities can often feel overwhelming — especially when balancing the demands of work, relationships, and family life.
Anxiety can make even the simplest moments feel heavy, leaving you feeling stuck in worry, tension, or emotional overwhelm.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety as an individual or as a parent trying to support your child, you don’t have to manage it alone.
UNDERSTANDING ANXIETY
Anxiety can show up in many different ways, including:
· Persistent worry or racing thoughts
· Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
· Emotional overwhelm or irritability
· Sleep disturbances
· Physical tension or unease
· Avoidant behaviours
For many, it can feel like a constant pressure to keep everything together — even when things feel like they’re falling apart internally.
These experiences are valid, and they deserve attention and care.
MY APPROACH
My approach to supporting clients in managing anxiety is grounded in both compassion and science.
I combine holistic and evidence-based practices with psycho-physiological techniques to provide integrative, comprehensive support.
In our work together, we will:
· Explore the root of your anxiety
· Understand how it shows up in your thoughts, body, and behaviours
· Develop practical, personalized coping strategies
· Build greater awareness, resilience, and confidence
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and explore your thoughts and feelings.
For many of the families I work with, anxiety is not just an individual experience.
Children, in particular, don’t have full control over their environment — which means their emotional experiences are often shaped by what’s happening around them.
This isn’t about blame. It’s about understanding.
When parents feel more supported, regulated, and confident, children often begin to feel safer — and their anxiety can decrease.
WHAT THERAPY CAN HELP WITH
Whether you're experiencing:
· Excessive worry or irrational fears
· Difficulty focusing or feeling mentally overwhelmed
· Avoidance or withdrawal
· Sleep challenges
· Physical symptoms of anxiety
Therapy can help you better understand these patterns and begin to shift them in a meaningful way.
Many clients find that therapy helps them:
· Recognize and understand their thought patterns
· Learn and practice more adaptive coping strategies
· Feel more calm, grounded, and in control
· Address underlying issues contributing to anxiety
· Experience relief from the intensity anxiety can create
While the process can feel challenging at times, I believe in each person’s capacity to move through anxiety and build a stronger sense of confidence and wellbeing.
You don’t have to manage anxiety on your own.
