Trauma can profoundly impact every facet of our being—how we think, how we feel, and how we relate to the world around us. It can stem from a single event or a series of experiences that leave us feeling unsafe, powerless, or profoundly threatened. Recognizing the deep and often pervasive effects of trauma is the first step towards healing. Our work together will focus on acknowledging these survival strategies, understanding their role in your life, and gently working towards integrating the traumatic experience in a way that fosters growth and resilience.

We will draw on evidence-based therapies tailored to your unique experience, including cognitive-behavioural strategies, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, all designed to help reduce the distressing symptoms of trauma and enhance your sense of control and self-efficacy.
