Therapy for Veterans, First Responders & Public Safety Personnel
Specialized Support for Veterans, Military Members, First Responder, & Public Safety Personnel
Whether you are currently serving, retired, or transitioning into civilian life, therapy provides a supportive space to process life's challenges, strengthen resilience and reconnect with the parts of yourself that deserve the same care you've spent years giving to others.

You Have Spent Years Supporting Others.
It's Okay to Look After Yourself and Receive Support Too.
Careers in policing, corrections, emergency services, military service, and public safety require extraordinary strength, responsibility, and resilience. While these qualities help you serve others, the cumulative demands of the job can affect emotional well-being, relationships, family life, sleep, stress levels, and your overall quality of life.
Seeking support is not a sign of weakness. It is an investment in your health, your relationships, and your ability to continue living the life you want - both professionally and personally.

My Approach
In addition to working full-time with veterans and retired RCMP members, I have completed specialized training through the ECHO Public Safety Personnel (PSP) Program: Supporting Public Safety Personnel with Complex Mental Health Injuries. This training has further strengthened my understanding of the unique psychological, emotional, and relational challenges that can accompany careers in policing, corrections, emergency services, military service, and public safety.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Drawing upon over 29 years of experience in mental health, including 22 years specializing in children's mental health and family therapy, I integrate attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and evidence-based psychotherapy to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.
Whether you are navigating operational stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply looking for a confidential space to process your experiences, therapy offers an opportunity to strengthen resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move toward lasting emotional well-being.
Why Many Veterans & First Responders Choose Therapy
Many people who dedicate their lives to helping others become exceptionally skilled at managing difficult situations while placing their own needs aside. Over time, however, the weight of responsibility can begin to affect many areas of life.
Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, gain perspective, strengthen relationships, develop practical coping strategies, and reconnect with yourself. You don't have to wait until you're in crisis to benefit from support.
